Believe Me Film is a new movie coming out in September.
We haven’t gotten the full copy of the Believe Me Film to pre-screen yet, but I wanted to type up a few thoughts on the movie from Riot Studios entitled “Believe Me Film”.
It’s amazing how (…pardon my lack of choosing a better word, but…) gullible some folks can be! Before we look at the “Believe Me Film”, which is a fictional movie, let’s look at a real life example of when people simply say, “BelieveMe”. There’s a HUGE lack of personal accountability that some people take when inhaling and then regurgitating information. I get that social stereotypes are sometimes behaviorally easy. But at some point folks need to simply ….
Before we get to the Believe Me video, lemme give ya a quick example. Watch and listen to this video very, Very, VERY carefully:
First, this is flat out sad. But think for a minute…. Think about all the people who had to fall under the ‘gullible’ category with this
mother – I should probably say woman and not associate the term “mother” with this woman! Note: My dad was – amongst other positions – at one point a Social Worker. So some “discernment” issues have become instinctual for me. Watch and I’ll point out each and every person – professional! – who had to fall under the category of gullible in order for this lady to pull this crap off.
- The doctors – If it’s not medically possible for the sodium levels to be that high, then it IS human-action that has caused the high levels of sodium. For the sake of the child, let’s call and have Child Protective Services (or whatever it’s called in your state) open up an investigation.
- The nurses – Same scenario as above. Someone should have called, called again, and called again and again, until they found out the reason for the “unexplained” levels of sodium!
- Child Protective Services – THE WORST OFFENDERS OF GULLIBLE-NESS!! If you do a little bit more research on this case, you’ll see that this woman was indeed investigated several times by CPS. And yet each and every time, the woman was simply “Believed”. She was allowed unrestricted access to the son! Some Social Workers are great. Some are ……eh – I’ll stop 😉
Ok, OK, Brad. But what does that have to do with the Believe Me Film?
It’s the plot in the Believe Me Film! In the movie, you’ll see a need. The need is going to be money. Tuition is needed to pay for college. And, instead of getting a loan, or filling out a ton of scholarship forms, the guys hatch their own form of deception. They set up a website, give the website some very persuasive text and images, and start taking donations for their ’cause”.
And, before long, their deceptive cause gets wings and takes off! See the parallels in the two scenarios?
What’s the only thing needed for these situations to happen? A gullible person needs to not do any ‘homework’ before taking action, and a deceptive person needs to simply say,
I want to encourage you to share this post with your friends and family. Not only is the story above a tragic one, but I really do anticipate this movie having some HUGE “Enlightening” and eye-opening life changes on a lot of people! But, it is up to you and I to share and promote in order for the Believe Me Film to be seen!
